• LOVE READING • Tread Lightly •

After a period of stress and anxiety in love, you are apprehensive about a new partner coming in. If past experiences have made you weary of a new prospective partner — I’m here to tell you: it’s your gut warning you. It’s one thing to be guarded in love after going through the ringer with tough relationships but it’s a whole other story to see the red flags and ignore them with the excuse that it’s just past trauma. Yes - we should never punish people for others mistakes, but I feel like your gut is telling you this new person isn’t all they are presenting to be. It could be that they are working very hard for your affection and putting out all the stops — but something tells me this person can be somewhat manipulative and out for themselves. They care more about winning you over than actually fostering a relationship with you. They could also be entertaining or chasing other suitors while telling you you’re the only one. The message here is to pay attention to patterns and actions. Is this person all talk and no action? Are they displaying behaviors that remind you of past partners who have been manipulative or even emotionally and verbally abusive in the past? Pay attention. This is the type of person who wants to have their cake and eat it too. Tread lightly!!

• Today’s affirmation •

It’s easy to get hung up on the lack in life. The woes, the downs, the never ending list of things that have gone wrong. But, the more you let negativity pull you down like quicksand, the harder it is to climb out. This card is a reminder to pivot your viewpoint. Focus on what remains, how far you’ve come, what good has come from the bad.

If we continue to let things *happen* to us, as if we are being punished with no control, we are giving up our power. It is a choice.

Now is a time for gratitude for all the GOOD in your life. Everything has duality. For every negative, there is a positive and visa versa - that’s life. Focus on the bad and you will see through that lens. Focus on the good, and you’ll find even more to be grateful for.

Called to a bit more of a gloomy reading today so I pulled from my Pythia Botanica and light worker oracle decks—Which is funny because the energy is quite juxtaposed… but alas, where there are shadows there must be light… right?

The first card out is eyebright/merriment. The power to see through the murky waters of discernment. With this we have black cohosh root/dig pull bury, which feels repetitive yet uprooting. I have an image of a purge coming through. Or a w**d being ripped from the ground. Lastly, we have unbound.

With Mercury and Venus stationed direct, it’s time to cut ties. For good. The themes over the past 8 weeks or so have been around reflection and planning around what is in alignment for you, and now it’s time to take action. I just heard ‘set yourself free from the chains of winter’ which can be metaphorical as we transition into spring but when I think about the energy of winter, it can be cold, harsh, and dark. If you have been through an intense hermit phase this light energy is here to bring balance and allow you to integrate your wisdom and knowing with what is right along your path of self. Only you know what is best for you… and it feels like finally you actually KNOW what that means. Like a snake shedding its skin or a seed propagating, you’re ready for newness and now is a really good time to make it happen.

• Solar Eclipse | Energy Update •

I wanted to cards to identify the energies with the solar eclipse yesterday - and I kept pulling reversals which signifies a blockage. I’m getting ‘the coast is clear’ and ‘I can see clearly now the rain is gone’.

I don’t know about you but the energy these past few days has felt quite heavy and draining. If you’ve been feeling stuck with no way out or confused about where to go next, don’t fret. You’ve been getting downloads lately about a path that will be unfolding but the internal noise has been VERY loud.

As Venus goes direct the next few days and Mercury stations retrograde (and Neptune transits into Aries) you will be able to pinpoint which thoughts are in alignment vs the clutter of everything else. Perhaps you’re ready to take the next step in a job, relationship, or chapter in life, but you haven’t been able to pinpoint or visualize what that looks like.

The 2 of inspiration (wands) prompts you to take a look at where you’ve BEEN in order to find a path to where you want to GO. What in the past have you identified as alignment and what did not work?

Use this wisdom you have gained to focus on what you want and don’t want, and be firm in that truth. The opportunities are endless, so long as you are clear with your intention and integrating all you have learned along the way. W I S D O M • C O M M U N I C A T E • I N S P I R E •

This combo is pretty straight forward. You have spent a lot of time learning in life through experiences - good or bad - and now is the time to use that wisdom to inspire others. The owl in the wisdom card appears with his eyes closed, but if you zoom out the eyes are actually illuminated under the light of the full moon. As the saying goes, ‘I have three eyes, two to look, and one to see’. The key in the fur of the owl is enveloped by the heart. You have learned the wisdom needed to follow what feels right and true.

With communicate, we have a bat surrounded by what seems to be a sonar wave. Flying forward. Most bats are blind, so there is a heavy emphasis on using your intuition, and inner senses to guide you forward. With inspire, we have a bird on a budding tree branch, acorns symbolizing fruition after a winter season. It’s time to come out of hiding and share your knowledge with others.

It’s interesting to me that all three cards display animals with wings, yet each has a completely different energy. Owls, silent and perching, with keen vision, bats, nocturnal who use their sonar to track and kill prey, and a wren, a songbird who begins its mating call in early spring. The combination of these three Signify community, but one who appreciates and values the differences of each of its parts. In order to work together in harmony, each piece of a community needs to know their strengths and their weaknesses, without being afraid of the talents of others.

You have a unique gift, given to you and only you through your wisdom earned through experience, and your heightened senses. Use this gift to inspire those around you. This could mean writing a book, starting a blog, or becoming a public speaker of sorts. You have a message that needs to be heard. Sing.
