As we close out Women’s History Month, let this be what we carry with us: Being a “good woman” does not mean being agreeable.

You do not have to shrink yourself to be loved.
You are not responsible for carrying burdens that were never yours to begin with.

Some of us aren’t just making history — we’re actively unlearning it. As we move forward, may we continue choosing ourselves, our voices, and our healing.
If you’re ready to embark on this journey, check out the link in our bio or email us directly at info@profoundpeace.org to connect with Briana!

As we near the end ofWomen’s History Month, Tyra reflects on the messages many women grew up hearing — be a “good girl,” don’t be too emotional, keep the peace, put others first. Some were said out loud, others were simply understood.

But you are not here to shrink yourself to make others comfortable. You are allowed to feel, to take up space, and to pour into yourself. This is your reminder that you can rewrite the narrative — one where your needs, your voice, and your well-being matter too.
As we move forward, let this be the story you choose for yourself.
Interested in booking with Tyra? Are you ready to unlearn, heal, and redefine what showing up for yourself looks like? Connect with us through the link in our bio or email us directly at info@profoundpeace.org

There’s a difference between a reaction and a boundary — and breaks it down.
A reaction might look like snapping when you’re overwhelmed. A boundary sounds like, “I need a moment. Let’s come back to this.” One is driven by emotion in the moment, the other is rooted in awareness and intention.
Boundaries aren’t about shutting people out — they’re about creating space to respond in a way that aligns with you.

Talking to children about current world events can feel overwhelming, especially when the topics are complex and heavy. .am.dr.ty.j reminds us that these conversations don’t have to be perfect — they just need to be calm, honest, and age-appropriate.
Start by asking what they already know, offer simple and clear information, and most importantly, remind them that they are safe, supported, and not alone. Limiting exposure to overwhelming or graphic content can also help protect their emotional well-being.
You don’t have to have all the answers — your presence and reassurance matter most.
Interested in meeting with Ty? Looking for additional support in navigating these conversations or supporting your child’s emotional needs? Check out the link in our bio or email us directly at info@profoundpeace.org to connect with us!

New Blog Alert!

speaks on how for many women of color — especially mothers — anxiety and depression don’t always look like what we expect. They can show up as pushing through, holding it together, showing up for everyone else… while quietly struggling inside.

Ashley is speaking to the unspoken — the pressure to be strong, the weight of responsibility, and the ways internalized anxiety and depression can go unnoticed. If you’ve ever felt like you had to keep going even when you were overwhelmed, this is for you.
You don’t have to carry it all alone. Read the full blog through the link in our bio, and if it resonates, connect with us for support.

As we continue advocating for women this Women’s History Month, Krystal reminds us of something many women experience but rarely say out loud: success does not always equal happiness.

Women can be achieving, providing, leading, and reaching goals while still feeling exhausted or overwhelmed internally. Success may look like paying bills, raising children, advancing in school, or growing in a career, but the journey often comes with pressure and challenges. Give yourself grace — you can be successful and still be having a hard moment. Both can exist at the same time.

If you’re looking for support from Krystal as you navigate life’s pressures and expectations, check out the link in our bio or email us directly at info@profoundpeace.org to connect!

breaks down enmeshment — a family dynamic where boundaries are blurred, privacy feels like rejection, and one person’s emotions affect everyone. What may look like closeness can sometimes hide control, guilt, and responsibility placed on children to keep the peace.
Recognizing these patterns is the first step toward healthier boundaries.
If this resonates and you are interested in booking with Tamika, check the link in our bio or email us at info@profoundpeace.org!
