National Campaign Brings Healthcare Equity On The Southside Of Chicago, Ending The HIV Epidemic In the U.S. By 2030. StepUpPrEPUp2030 is a community- informed national campaign designed to help Diagnose, Treat, Prevent and Respond, To The Ending Of The HIV Epidemic In The US By 2030.
The StepUpPrEPUp2030 campaign is led by Dr. Tyra L. Dean-Ousley, FPA, APRN, FNP-BC, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who opened a health care center to meet the healthcare needs of the underserved communities on the south side of Chicago. Dr. Ousley has been a healthcare provider for over 30 years and her passion to educate her community has always been a top priority. Dr. Ousley states "there are a wealth of resources located on the north side of Chicago and our south side communities lack healthcare equity and are forced to navigate a complex healthcare system to protect themselves from HIV. With this campaign we are dedicated to provide healthcare, medication, education and healthcare resources to reduce the spread of HIV by 2030."
