After cardiac arrest the percentage of survival rapidly diminishes within minutes but with proper training and tools the odds of survival is greatly increased. If someone receives defibrillation with CPR within 1 to 2 minutes their chance of survival is 80% versus a virtual 0% chance of success after 10 minutes. On average an emergency vehicle may take anywhere from 6 to 18 minutes to arrive on scene. Persons at any age can experience cardiac arrest due to a variety of factors. At A1medi-cert we offer comprehensive courses on site in BLS, HEARTSAVER CPR & AED, PEDIATRIC CPR, AED AND FIRST AID. We give your employees or volunteers the necessary skills and tools to be able to respond correctly and with confidence in an emergency situation, following strict guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association. By combining auditory, visual and hands-on training A1medi-cert ensures that each student understands the skills covered in the training and can respond properly to a variety of medical, health and safety issues that may arise in your facility.
