We’re proud to share that Sinai Chicago is featured in the April edition of Chicago Medicine Magazine! 📰✨
Our story, “Why 340B Matters to Patients and Providers: How a Little‑Known Program Sustains Care for the Most Under‑Resourced Communities,” appears on page 17 and highlights the critical role 340B plays in ensuring equitable, accessible care for the communities we serve.
This recognition underscores the ongoing commitment of our teams and partners who work every day to support patients who rely on safety-net healthcare.
On March 24, we were pleased to welcome Jennifer DeCubellis, President/CEO of America's Essential Hospitals, for a site visit.
Jennifer also joined Dr. Ngozi Ezike on the More Than Medicine podcast 🎙️—airing in April—to discuss leadership in healthcare and the essential role of safety‑net hospitals in expanding access, advancing equity, and supporting our communities.
We’re grateful for the partnership and the meaningful conversation about building a healthier, more equitable future. 💙🌍

What an incredible turnout at yesterday’s 340B Action Day rally at Chicago State University—more than 500 community members, caregivers, and advocates came together in support of protecting the 340B program.
We’re grateful to Representative Anna Moeller, Chief Sponsor of HB2371/SA2, and Leader Mattie Hunter, for joining us and recognizing the significance of the 340B program and why the program needs protecting. Their presence underscored the critical role this program plays in ensuring access to care for vulnerable patients.
A heartfelt thank you to all the Sinai Chicago caregivers, especially our colleagues from Holy Cross Hospital, who took time out of their Sunday afternoon to stand up for the communities we serve.
