🌿 What is Gua Sha?

Gua Sha (pronounced gwah-shah) is an ancient traditional Chinese healing technique that involves gently scraping the skin using a smooth-edged tool, often made of jade, rose quartz, or stone to stimulate blood circulation, release stagnant energy (chi), and encourage lymphatic drainage.

Traditionally used for centuries to reduce tension, inflammation, and blockages in the body, Gua Sha works to restore balance and promote natural healing from within.

At Blue Lotus Healz, Gua Sha is now offered as a new add-on service and is automatically included with Lymphatic Massage as guided by intuition or client need.

During the session, I use gentle, intentional strokes to help:
• Release trapped toxins
• Stimulate lymph flow
• Reduce fluid retention or puffiness
• Relieve muscle tightness
• Improve skin tone and elasticity
• Promote relaxation and energetic flow

Because Gua Sha helps the body release stagnation and blockages, it aligns perfectly with energy-based modalities like Reiki, Sekhem, and Laying on of Hands, allowing deeper healing through both physical and energetic channels.
