Do you know what Songs By Heart is??

The singers use therapeutic techniques such as mirroring, verbal and gestural prompting, making direct eye contact, and holding hands with residents throughout the program. Singers encourage residents to join in the singing, clapping, and dancing, as well as to engage in conversation centered around the musical selections. Music has the power to help residents to connect to each other, the world around them, and to the joy of music. We are so thankful we have had our singer & piano player at a weekly basis for years now, to which the musicians know our residents well and are able to connect! Thank you for making our day every week, Songs By Heart Foundation! 🎶
