WE ARE SORRY
.that we know all of our athletes by name and reach out to them when they are gone. We want to see them as much as possible and they aren’t just a number on a list.
.that we are a 24/7 access facility, so you may have no excuse to make it into the gym even if you miss class.
.we also offer classes 7 days a week for all abilities and skill levels that are high energy, inspiring and led by a professional coach with at least 5 years of experience. No reason not to come in!
.the owners are always around. The standards are high, the music is solid and the mindset is a growth focused one.
.our gym has free parking all around so it’s easy to get here by car or foot.
.we are not your typical crowded gym where you’ll have to wait for every piece of equipment.
.we host monthly social events so you have an opportunity to get to know people outside of class.
.the community will welcome you in just as much as the staff, and you’ll feel seen and accepted from day one.

We are not perfect but we hope you will look past these faults and get started today at crossfitsixpoints.com

Spend the day with the person you love (or like) - doing something you love ❤️ Our Bring your Babe WOD was awesome with many people trying the gym for the first time 💪🏼

“The only person who can change your life is you”

You want to be more consistent in the gym? Schedule and go to your classes.

You want to increase percentages on lifts?
Prioritize nutrition and sleep.

You want to make friends and have more social interactions?
Wear a smile and make plans to do things you enjoy.

You want to lose weight and increase muscle?
Talk to a coach or nutrition professional and make a plan of attack. “Eating well” isn’t enough without data.

The change is up to you 🌳

..but I don’t like this workout

Probably because it’s the things you need to work on most.
.but I am so bad at “that” movement

Probably because you always view it with negativity instead of a growth mindset to aid improvement.
.but I know I will be the slowest one

You will be faster than every person who stayed home or isn’t able to get into the gym due to illness or travel.
.but I scaled

Scaling is a great way to focus on your quality rather than putting RX next to your name. Reaching the stimulus of the workout is much more impactful than doing it as prescribed.

Apps suck. Getting set up can be weird. Valentine’s Day is equally weird. Let’s go back to meeting IRL!

This event will be welcome to all who are single (welcoming all genders/orientations) with a focus on meeting new people in the Chicago fitness community. We are spreading the word to many local gyms, but invite any and all single fitness enthusiasts and spread the word.

I want to create a night that’s not only inclusive and fun, but with a laid back activity to keep energy high and everyone occupied.

Trivingo (alternating rounds of bingo and trivia) will be hosted by Ryan Alkire, a local comedian and personality who runs events for local restaurants and bars.

Seating will be rotating throughout to encourage conversations and connections.

Tickets will include drinks (alcoholic and NA), light snacks, and other like-minded singles looking for a good time! Link in bio 🤍

Is Sunday the end or beginning of the week? 🧐

Regardless of your answer, set yourself up for success on Monday.

✅ Reserve your classes for the week. Honor your commitments and GO!

✅ Meal prep 4-5 lunches or dinners for easier evenings after work. Fuel your body.

✅ Set time away from your screens: read, journal, stretch, write a letter to someone you love or call someone to catch up. Be intentional with your time.

What’s something you need to focus on this week?

Choose your hard.

Going to the gym is hard, being tired all the time is harder.

Eating well is hard, feeling sluggish is harder.

Not drinking can be hard, being hungover is harder.

Going to bed early can be hard, waking up tired is harder.

Reading before bed instead of scrolling is hard, having poor sleep is harder.

Scheduling your workouts and going can be hard, going after too many days off is harder.

Showing up for yourself is hard, missing out on community is harder.

Do it for (future) you.

“Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it.” – Charles R. Swindoll

Choosing to spend an hour in the gym will not only elevate your mood, but also help you progress in your fitness goals.

Even if you only come in to “move”, the endorphins alone will be worth the trip.
