500 Classes - Macie Tonn

Today Macie hit 500 classes at CFSP, and has been a consistent face in our community in classes and events since joining.

Macie loves to run, encourage others and work increasing her capacity. She has run several marathons and this spring is training to run the Boston Marathon, a lifelong dream.

Macie began CrossFit before the pandemic, and has surpassed many goals including improvement in gymnastics and olympic lifting. She is a regular afternoon athlete with us and seen huge improvements over the last 500 classes.

Outside of the gym, Macie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, their dog Herbie and our great city. Catch her as a shoe specialist at Fleet Feet Old Town or reach out if you need any help with Chicago real estate!

It’s been a whirlwind year for Team Levine - and now the family has taken on 26.2!

With Anna Maria joining last summer to give CrossFit a try - she has seen increased mileage in her running and decrease in plantar fasciitis symptoms.

With three young girls and two careers, Jon and Anna Maria still practice what they preach: be a good human and keep working on hard things.

Over the last year, the girls have achieved close to 70 classes and learned to love the gym and its community.

We are thrilled to be the second home for this wonderful family and hope to see them continue to flourish in and out of the gym.

Fit Over 50 - Why Strength Training is for every age.

“The needs of the Olympic athlete and the needs of our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. One needs functional competence to stay out of the nursing home. The other wants functional dominance to win medals.” - Greg Glassman

This new class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays and is open to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life through movement. This class is accessible and programmed specifically for the 50 and up population to empower and inspire.

Please share with your neighbors, loved ones and coworkers who can benefit from functional fitness in a supportive environment like CFSP. First class is free, so all they need to do is show up!
