Each tiny pumpkin arrived just in time to bring a little extra magic, love, and laughter to the day.

In the heart of Pilsen, women gathered to walk, heal, and uplift one another at the ELLAS Walkathon 2025—and Sinai Chicago was honored to be part of it.

Together with The Resurrection Project, our team provided free blood pressure checkups and shared resources to support breast health in our community.

Special thanks to Meagan Thompson, 3rd-year medical student, and Guadalupe Marín, Community Health Worker, for representing Sinai and helping promote health and healing in our community.

The spotlight is on our innovative Weight Wellness Program, launched in late 2024 through our Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology.

🩺 Dr. Mahwash Siddiqui, Division Head of Endocrinology, shares insights into how the program is transforming diabetes care on Chicago’s West Side by integrating obesity and diabetes treatment with personalized, culturally responsive care. From nutrition counseling to coordinated support with local partners, the program is already making a powerful impact — with over 200 referrals in just seven months!
