Most people haven’t heard of 340B, but millions of patients rely on it. 💊🏥

In a new blog, Thomas Yu of Sinai Chicago explains how the 340B Drug Pricing Program keeps safety-net hospitals strong and ensures uninsured patients get the care and medications they need.

As threats to 340B grow, we have to ask: are we okay with less care for our communities?

✨ Kicking Off 2026 with Gratitude ✨

Last week, we gathered for Sinai’s New Year Holiday Meal celebration, an opportunity to pause, share a meal, and say thank you to the incredible caregivers who bring compassion, commitment, and heart to our community every single day.

Their dedication is the reason our mission comes to life. We’re grateful for all they do and proud to start 2026 on such a positive, joyful note. 💙

🌟 Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 🌟

Today, we pause to remember Dr. King’s unshakable belief that even in challenging moments, communities can rise stronger. Especially when we choose unity over division. Dr. King’s words remind us that “only in the darkness can you see the stars.” His vision encourages us to keep pushing toward a future where every community has access to the care and equity it deserves.

May we continue to look for those stars in one another: in our conversations, in our acts of service, and in the way we show up for our neighbors.
