Surprise! I gave birth last week to baby #5 🩷 Our sweet girl, Ayla, joined us Earthside on Monday, March 25th, in less than 3 hours! We are so excited she is here and lots of adjusting taking place as we all navigate newborns, patience, and calm bodies/gentle hands 😬 I will be highlighting some postpartum items that have helped me in upcoming posts!

The last 2 weeks, fevers and congestion plagued our home. I used homeopathy, Aconite + Belladonna, for the quick onset of a fever above 102°. And my custom-made shower steamers for a decongestant using Breathe + Rosemary 🌬

Salve test! When making lotions, creams, and salves, you can check your consistency by dipping a spoon into your mixture and freezing for 5 minutes. Remove the spoon from the freezer, and that will be your consistency! Too hard? Add more oil. Too soft? Add more beeswax.

Sticker through the wash, anyone? 🫠 I was always terrified of misplaced stickers with all that gooey residue clinging to the surface. Not anymore 🙅‍♀️ Lemon essential oil cuts through the goo and removes the sticker without much effort 🍋 I always test the oil in a small spot first, but so far, so good 🙌 I have successfully removed stickers from clothing, wood floors, windows, and more! Add a couple drops and rub that sticker off 😁
