Our collection of over 400 unique frames is comprised of contemporary eyeglasses that you won't easily find elsewhere, from brands like Reiz, Shuron, Andy Wolf, Randolph Engineering, Yellows Plus, Article One, Kaneko Optical, Masahiro Maruyama, and Globe Specs. Owner/optician Coyote DeGroot holds an Advanced Certification from the American Board of Opticianry and will offer you experienced, intelligent advice. Taking into account your prescription and frame choice, we help choose the lens product that's best for you. Our approach toward eyewear is artisanal and educated, and we take the time to ensure an optimum balance of good looks, comfort, and clear vision.

I’m happy to to welcome to the roster of cool brands I’ve assembled at the shop.

The collection is huge and diverse, with styles running the gamut from vintage-inspired to ultra-modern. The metal frames are titanium, and all the frames are handmade in Sabae, Japan.

I probably have the largest collection of Eyevan frames in the Midwest, so make an appointment and come check ‘em out!

Tariff update! I WILL NOT be raising my frame prices to offset the increased cost of bringing cool eyewear to the United States from Japan, Europe, and Canada. My ordering schedule will be a little more infrequent however, so don’t sleep if you see something you like in my shop…it may be a long time before I can get it again.
