Thank you to everyone who participated in the Perry Initiative Outreach Program at this year! Students in grades 10 and up from local Vancouver high schools participated in mock surgical exercises and heard from ASSH members about hand surgery and orthopaedics. We're so grateful to all the surgeon volunteers and hope to see some future surgeons emerge from this event!

Congratulations to Ryan Calfee, MD, MSc, the new Vice President of the ASSH! Dr. Calfee joined the presidential line at this year's Annual Meeting in Vancouver and will serve as the 82nd President of the ASSH in 2027-2028. He is a longtime member and volunteer of ASSH, and we're ecstatic to have him on our leadership team.
