Kaia, who was 11 years old when she was diagnosed with cancer, heard about Camp One Step from one of her nurses while she was in the hospital. Now, she is a sophomore in high school and has attended Summer Camp, Dude Ranch Camp, Utah Ski Camp, and Winter Camp. She has found a second family and made lifelong friendships.

Thanks to supporters like you, Camp One Step can offer free, year round camps for kids with cancer and their families that foster joy, belonging, confidence, and life-long friendships.

You did it!

Each year we ask something really special of our community. We rally around our favorite place. We share photos, priceless memories, and really important stories of our lives as childhood cancer patients and survivors that has been forever changed by Camp One Step.

YOU did it once again. You shouted from the rooftops how special camp is to you. Thanks to our entire community’s help we met the $25,000 match from the Marks Family Foundation raising over $50,000 in a single day.

You did it for every camper that believes Camp One Step is so much more than a camp. It’s meeting your best friend, it’s late night giggles, it’s finding joy in the activities you once thought cancer had taken from you, and it’s safety in a community where you feel seen. For us, camp is so much more than a camp, it’s our second family and we will make sure more kids than ever find that same feeling because of you.
