Looking for a Thanksgiving side dish that feels festive and nourishing? πŸ‚πŸ¦ƒ My Thanksgiving Fruit & Nut Stuffed Acorn Squash brings together cozy roasted squash, protein-rich quinoa, and a sweet-savory mix of cranberries, pecans, and warm spices. It’s a colorful, seasonal side that looks beautiful on the table and balances out the indulgences of the holiday.

Ingredients:
πŸŽƒ 2 medium acorn squash, halved and seeds removed
πŸ₯£ 1 cup cooked quinoa
πŸ‡ 1/3 cup dried cranberries (unsweetened if possible)
πŸ₯œ 1/3 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)
🍏 1 small apple, finely diced
🍯 1 tablespoon maple syrup
πŸ«’ 1 tablespoon olive oil
🌿 1 teaspoon cinnamon
πŸ§‚ Pinch of salt

Instructions:
1. Roast the Squash: Preheat oven to 400Β°F. Brush acorn squash halves with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and place cut side down on a baking sheet. Roast for 25–30 minutes until tender.
2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, combine quinoa, cranberries, pecans, diced apple, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Toss gently to combine.
3. Stuff the Squash: Flip roasted squash halves cut side up. Spoon the quinoa mixture evenly into each half.
4. Warm and Serve: Return stuffed squash to the oven for 5–10 minutes to warm through. Serve hot and enjoy the cozy flavors of the season.

This vibrant side dish pairs beautifully with turkey, chicken, or even salmon, creating a well-rounded Thanksgiving meal. The quinoa provides plant-based protein, the squash is rich in fiber and vitamin A, and the nuts add healthy fats to keep you satisfied. It’s the perfect way to bring balance and nourishment to your holiday table. 🧑

Life can feel overwhelming, which is why it’s so important to live in alignment with your values. Let them be your north star to guide decisions and help you see the bigger picture. 🌟

πŸ’™ Strive for harmony, not balance. Harmonious living is blending all of your life domains in a way that aligns with your values and brings the most life satisfaction.
πŸ’™ Remember that limits liberate. Boundaries in your personal and professional life give you the freedom to focus on what truly matters.
πŸ’™ Watch out for the extras. It’s easy to feel like you need to do everything during the holidays. Step back, say no when needed, and protect your energy for what is most meaningful to you.

When things feel overwhelming, pause, return to your values, and make small adjustments. That’s how you create harmony through the season. ✨

Set yourself up for more balanced days and healthier choices for the week ahead. On the weekend, I like to practice snack prepping by preparing nourishing grab-and-go options that fuel both your family and your workweek. It’s a small habit with a big payoff for your energy, focus, and mood.

Snack Prepping Ideas:
πŸ₯œ Nuts or trail mix: sustained energy
🍎 Fresh fruit: a natural mood boost
πŸ₯£ Yogurt: protein and gut health
πŸ₯• Veggie sticks with hummus: crunch and fiber
πŸ§€ String cheese: protein-packed and portable

TIP: Prepare your snacks on Saturday or Sunday for the week. Pre-cut, portion, and pack your snacks so they are ready to go.

A little planning today can make tomorrow feel lighter, brighter, and more in line with your wellness goals.

Mindfulness is a powerful way to manage stress and build resilience. Even a few intentional minutes can make a big difference.

Try these simple techniques:
πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ Meditation: Start your day calm and centered
✍️ Journaling: Process thoughts and gain clarity
🌬️ Breathwork: Activate your body’s relaxation response
πŸ™ Gratitude: Focus on positives
πŸ•―οΈ Reflection or prayer: Center yourself

Stress management isn’t about eliminating stress. It’s about creating space for peace, focus, and energy in your life.
