Meet Mary!

Dr. Mary Kirschner is a post-doctoral therapist providing therapy to adults virtually. Her background and areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, trauma, and health related issues such as ongoing physical issues and solid organ transplant processes.

Her approach is collaborative in nature as she promotes overall personal wellness while helping clients work toward their goals. Dr. Kirschner is flexible and adaptable regarding the unique needs of each individual client. She integrates the use of therapeutic approaches such as traditional Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to challenge unhelpful thoughts about the self, others, and situations all while helping clients identify personal strengths that will facilitate change and move towards values and goals.

Dr. Kirschner received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL. She has been practicing in the field for over 10 years across a myriad of clinical settings, including Veterans Affairs hospitals and clinics, private hospitals, and private practice settings. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Illinois Psychological Association.

Meet Alyson!

Alyson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy to adults in-person and virtually. Alyson has experience helping those with depression, anxiety, career changes, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, and other life transitions. She utilizes both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques while keeping an open-minded and non-judgmental perspective.

Sometimes it can be hard to get through life's challenges on your own and you may need some extra help. Alyson is here to provide that support in times of need. Alyson believes each session should be individualized to meet a client's specific needs. The therapeutic relationship and environment are crucial for setting a solid foundation for the therapeutic process and Alyson uses these foundations to work collaboratively toward each client's goals.

Alyson received her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University and is a National Certified Counselor. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Missouri State University.

Meet Rachel!

Rachel is a Licensed Social Worker providing therapy to adolescents and adults in-person and virtually. She has expertise in assisting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma or loss, self-esteem and self-worth, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

Rachel’s goal when spending valuable time with clients is to assist them in becoming more self-aware and fulfilled. For some, therapy can be intimidating and a new experience, she strives to cultivate a safe therapeutic relationship where individuals can feel comfortable and open to be their true authentic selves. She is passionate about creating spaces and relationships that integrate humor, play and openness.

With a holistic approach, Rachel integrates Strengths Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy to assist individuals in improving all areas of their lives.

Meet Morgan!

Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents. She has expertise working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, life transitions, and relational difficulties.

Grounded in compassion and humor, Morgan focuses on creating a non-judgmental space for her clients to connect deeply with mind and body. She believes that clients can build fulfilling lives by increasing awareness of self and expanding the parameters of possibility. Morgan uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation strategies. Alicia Fitzsimons is a licensed professional counselor providing therapy services to adults of all ages. Alicia uses a strengths-based approach with her clients, helping them notice and access their strengths in addition to modifying unhelpful thought and behavioral patterns.

Alicia utilizes a CBT framework and works in a collaborative manner with clients, tailoring treatment to each person’s individual needs and goals. Meet Dr. Tibbetts!

Gillian Tibbetts is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working with adults, couples, and families. She has expertise in helping individuals who are experiencing life transitions, LGBTQ issues, relationship and parenting challenges, have experienced trauma or loss, and who are experiencing general dissatisfaction with one or more aspects of their current lives.

Dr. Tibbetts uses a relational approach to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental relationship that is built on trust and acceptance. She approaches therapy through an attachment lens, which helps clients gain personal understanding through exploring the ways that past experiences influence their current lives. Dr. Tibbetts encourages and supports her clients in identifying and utilizing their strengths while acknowledging how the overlapping aspects of their lives—from their histories to their current relationships and family dynamics—influence the ways that they approach self-reflection, school, work, and relaxation.

Dr. Tibbetts earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University and her M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Trent University. She has presented at several international professional conferences and her research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals.
