“Squishy Fidget Toys Can Be a Sticky Mess—or Worse.”

Many of these toys can leak liquids or gels — and when the pH is too extreme, things can get risky.
As Dr. Del Campo explains, “When the pH is too extreme, either too low or too high, that’s definitely a problem. It can cause skin irritation, including redness, stinging, or a rash.”
