Our philosophy of practice is evidence based at it's core, and our evaluations often include laboratory or other screening to rule out general medical causes. In addition, we enjoy offering patients consultation on evidence based alternative therapies and nutritional guidance as appropriate, and as their interest dictates. We partner with local psychotherapy groups to assist patients with coordinating quality therapeutic treatments in addition to our pharmacological interventions. Dr. Richelle Porapaiboon is a Chicago-trained child and adolescent psychiatrist and is proud to serve the community as the Medical Director for the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. She sees patients in the Adult and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs at Chicago LakeShore Hospital. There, she is often able to expedite inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, should the need arise. In this manner, we look to provide continuity between all possible levels of psychiatric care for my patients. Thank you for your time and have a great day!
