Great news: VA to invest all-time high of nearly $5 Billion to improve health care infrastructure.

VA will spend $4.8 billion in fiscal year 2026 to modernize, repair and improve health care facilities as part of the Veterans Health Administration’s Non-Recurring Maintenance program, which makes infrastructure improvements to health care facilities to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Joey was discharged from the U.S. Army Reserve after testing positive for co***ne. Despite severe consequences, he continued to misuse drugs after service. After years of homelessness and incarceration, he received treatment for substance use disorder, which helped him find his way back to his family and improve his self-worth.
