Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is dedicated to providing personal support to those affected by Pancreatic Cancer through tailored resources, connections and education, and funding for early detection research. This , honoring Black history also means confronting health inequities.

D’Angelo’s passing from pancreatic cancer highlighted a harsh reality: Black Americans—especially Black men—face higher incidence and mortality due to systemic barriers and later diagnoses. In response, his estate created a foundation to advance research, raise awareness, and support families affected by one of the most lethal cancers. 💜

You can take action. Support Rolfe’s programs to fund life-saving research and provide patient support—helping close gaps and improve outcomes in Black communities.

For Roslyn, Carnival for a Cause is more than a day of fun—it’s personal. 💜

After losing both of her parents to pancreatic cancer at a young age, she’s seen how far research, screening, and testing have come since their diagnoses. That progress gives her hope—and fuels her commitment to creating a better future for her children and for families facing this disease today.

As one of the creators of Carnival for a Cause, Roslyn helped bring this event to life—turning hope into action and supporting early detection research, better treatments, and brighter outcomes for the next generation.

This Black History Month, we honor Black history by continuing to highlight the ongoing need for health equity. 💜

In this Wellness Wednesday webinar, Dr. Matthew Dixon, hepatopancreatobiliary surgeon at Rush University Medical Center, discusses pancreatic cancer disparities that disproportionately impact Black communities. The conversation explores factors driving these inequities, the importance of communication with at-risk groups, advances in pancreatic surgery, and the questions patients should feel empowered to ask their care team.

Awareness and education remain critical steps toward equitable care.
