🌟 WHISTLEMANIA I — LOGAN SQUARE EDITION 🌟

Hey everyone! I’m helping co-organize WhistleMania I, a citywide community action event where we’ll be assembling whistle packets — small kits that help folks notify others when 🧊 is in the area or taking people.

Each packet includes:
📜 Info on your rights and who to contact if 🧊 is seen
🔊 A whistle for rapid alerts
📇 Community resource info

This is part of the collective action we’re taking to stop our neighbors from disappearing and the broader effort to Form a Crowd, Stay Loud.

There will be WhistleMania events happening across Chicagoland — including Hermosa, Belmont Cragin, Austin, and Avondale.

🕕 Tuesday, October 14 | 6:00–8:00 PM

We’ll be assembling 700+ whistle packets at the Logan Square site!

Ways to help:
🖨️ Printing support: We need folks who can help print materials (the more people who print, the cheaper it is for everyone!)
💵 Printing funds: You can also contribute directly to help cover printing costs via Venmo -holzman (9700).
Any remaining funds will be donated to the GoFundMe supporting Chicago vendors directly impacted by 🧊.
📦 Volunteer: Come by to help set up, assemble packets, and clean up the space.
