Join us in congratulating Gabriele on her new role as a Patient Care Technician at Northwestern Hospital! 🎉💙 Gabriele began her journey with UI Health Volunteer Services in October 2024, and from day one, she showed dedication, compassion, and a true passion for patient care. She successfully completed our Certified Nursing Assistant program in Summer 2025 and most recently contributed almost 150 hours as a Volunteer Services Administrative Intern. As a pre-nursing student preparing to begin nursing school, Gabriele continues to take meaningful and inspiring steps toward a bright future in healthcare. Congratulations, Gabi! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next. 💙✨

We are very proud to celebrate an incredible member of our team, Nicole, recipient of the ICARE Award at UI Health! 🌟 Nicole began her journey with us as a volunteer back in 2018 and has dedicated over five years of service to UI Health. For the past two years, she has served as our Clinical Rotations Coordinator, where she has consistently gone above and beyond, streamlining clinical rotations, expanding student opportunities, and ensuring compliance across our hospital and clinics. From building strong partnerships to creating meaningful shadowing experiences, her work continues to open doors for future healthcare professionals.
