Shoutout to Pamela, our new Volunteer Services Program Coordinator! 🎉

Pamela’s journey with UI Health is truly inspiring. She began her journey with us in 2019 as a Volunteer, where she dedicated over two years of service volunteering at different departments and events. She then transitioned into the Volunteer Services Office Support Associate role, serving in that position for the past three years.
During that time, Pamela also worked diligently toward her bachelor’s degree, which she proudly earned this past spring! 🎓✨ And now, we are thrilled to welcome her into her newest chapter as the Volunteer Services Program Coordinator.

Pamela, we are so proud of you. Watching your growth, dedication, and development over the years has been an absolute joy. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement! 💙

All of our Volunteer Services interns have been hard at work this week, supporting the daily operations of the Volunteer Services Office. From organizing materials to assisting with onboarding tasks, they play a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly.

We had a full house of volunteers assembling hundreds of folders for our Surgical Services patients and for the Emergency Room. Their hard work ensures that every patient receives organized, high-quality information right when they need it most.

We are so happy to welcome our second P.A.C.E at NLU intern this year, Lukas! 🎉 He joins Guadalupe in supporting the Volunteer Services office, as well as several other departments throughout UI Health.

This marks our 7th year of partnership with the P.A.C.E Program at National Louis University, and we are incredibly proud to continue creating meaningful learning and workforce development opportunities for these outstanding students.
