Dr. Teo is also a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. Dr. Teo believes that education is critical to providing quality care.

Dr. Teofilo Limosnero or “Dr. Teo” as he is known by his patients is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology. He then attended the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Science and his Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery. Dr. Teo has been in private practice since 1992, focusing primarily on comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetics. His practice philosophy is based on quality care and compassion that respects the patient’s right to choose treatment options based on his/her own personal health care philosophy. He is committed to building a trusting relationship with his patients knowing that a healthy, functional, and beautiful smile can alter lives! He feels that there is always more to learn. Until recently he was a clinical instructor at the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry where he instructed dental students in all aspects of restorative dentistry. He left his post to devote 100% of his time to caring for his patients at Lincoln Park Smiles in the Loop. Dr. Teo is currently a member of and a clinical instructor for the Chicago Study Group of the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC), a continuing education organization dedicated to teaching Smile Design principals to its member dentists. Dentistry is a constantly evolving field with new materials, techniques and equipment. To keep up with modern dental technology, Dr. Teo continues to learn and perfect his clinical skills by participating in yearly continuing education courses from prominent and well-respected dental institutions. He is currently a Dawson Scholar of the Dawson Academy. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. Out of the office, Dr. Teo is very active with his family, friends and the community. For 10 years he was a performing member of the Chicago Spirit Brigade or CSB, a nonprofit, adult, volunteer organization comprised of cheer, dance and drill teams. CSB is committed to raising funds for people living with life threatening challenges such as AIDS, HIV, cancer or homelessness. He has served as a Board member, Treasurer, performing member, and General Manager for the Group. But best of all, he especially loves traveling to the Pacific Northwest to spend time with his grandchildren.

The way I practice dentistry today is heavily influenced by this man. I’m saddened by his passing. He has forever changed my life as a dental professional and human being. But more importantly, his teachings have greatly benefited my patients. I’m so humbled to have met the honorable Dr. Pete Dawson and fortunate to have completed the Dawson Academy’s curriculum while he was still with us. Thank you Dr. Dawson for your contributions. You will be missed.
