You have just completed a case of sudden, unwitnessed death in an elderly man. He has been treated recently for a new-onset arrhythmia and was scheduled for a pacemaker placement. The autopsy showed massive cardiomegaly from hypertension and also an 85% blockage in the right coronary artery. There is a great deal of fluid (edema) in the lungs. You are working on a case report and have some additional questions for the family to help you figure out the case. The report is not yet signed out. While speaking to the family, they ask you to review some of the findings you wrote on the death certificate related to the cause of death. The best response is to:
A. Give your best answer to their questions now, because it's considerate and they want to know.
