As the days grow brighter and the world comes alive again, it’s time to awaken our energy, refresh our routines, and nurture what’s ready to bloom.

✨ Imagine moving through the season with lightness, joy, and renewed focus - rather than rushing to keep up or clinging to old patterns.

✨ Imagine greeting each day with vitality, saying, “I actually feel inspired and supported by this season” - instead of feeling overwhelmed by change.

✨ Imagine stepping into summer feeling radiant, balanced, and deeply connected to your inner growth - because you tended to your body and spirit through the renewal of spring.

To that end, I’m excited and delighted to be collaborating with and and offering Myofascial Release based workshops at their beautiful studios. I’m also inspired to be offering a spring day retreat this spring where we’ll explore somatic and nature-based practices to align our energies with spring and learn how center ourselves in the chaotic times we’re living in to help us meet the moments we’re experiencing.

These immersive workshops and retreat are here to help you align with spring’s energy - cultivating creativity, balance, and vibrant presence as everything around you begins to thrive.

When we see the world burning down all around us and our emotions start to intensify until they feel almost too big to hold, that’s our cue to slow down. To pause. To take a movement break - not to run from what we feel, but to let it move through us.

Because when we don’t, those emotions can quietly take over. We start to disconnect, tune out the noise, or bury what we can’t handle. Over time, that buildup shows up as tension, anxiety, or even myofascial pain in our bodies - our unexpressed feelings trying to find their way out.

So instead, let’s practice facing what’s there. Feel it, breathe it, shake it out - whatever helps you release it. Movement isn’t just about physical wellness; it’s an act of emotional hygiene. Each time we let energy move through, we make room for clarity, compassion, and courage to rise.

Let yourself feel it all. Let it move. And then notice what becomes clear in the stillness that follows.

This is just the beginning of what’s possible when you experience somatic healing. If you’re seeking 1:1 individualized support, DM me the word ‘somatic’ to learn how to schedule a 30 minute complimentary call and experience if our work together is the right fit for you.

A little something you may not know about me…

Today, I’m opening up about what led me into the world of bodywork and healing. This isn’t just my profession - it’s my calling.

There’s a personal story behind every session and every intention. Read on to learn what sparked my journey, and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn’t the pain - it’s the feeling that your body has turned against you.

But what if your body isn’t betraying you…what if it’s trying to talk to you?

Every ache, wave of fatigue, or tightness might just be your body’s way of asking for care, safety, or dare I say…rest.

Healing begins when we shift from fighting our body to listening to it - when we soften, breathe, and let the body lead the way.

This week’s carousel dives into how your body communicates, why it sometimes feels like resistance, and how somatic practices can help you reconnect with your inner rhythm.

What’s one way your body has been trying to get your attention lately? Please let me know in the comments below. If you’d like to explore how 1:1 somatic healing support can help you, DM me to start a conversation.

I’m excited to share that I’ve graciously been invited to teach an in-depth study of the Myofascial System at Grateful Yoga in Evanston next month! Read on to learn what we’ll be covering and how this exploration will not only teach you how to release fascial tension but how to integrate these releases into your everyday life:

The Myofascial System
Fascia embeds every tissue in our body; from the largest muscle group, down to the tiniest cell. It’s deeply intertwined with our energy and awareness, sometimes holding onto layers of physical, mental, or emotional tension until we consciously release them.

Since the fascia is a system that conducts its way throughout the whole body, a restriction in one area can affect the tissues in another; creating unhealthy holding patterns and overall decreased mobility. These restrictions can hold us back - both in our yoga or fitness practice and in the simple act of moving through daily life.

The Myofascial Freedom Workshop Experience
In this immersive workshop, we’ll explore the fascinating world of the fascial system and experience how freeing the body can also free the mind. Using myofascial release techniques with foam rollers and therapy balls, you’ll help your body soften tight patterns and restore fascia to its natural, fluid state.

Beyond the physical, we’ll dive into interoceptive and somatic practices that foster a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit. By releasing stored tension on every level, you’ll support your nervous system, cultivate lasting freedom, and rediscover ease in movement - and in life.

Join us for one, two or all four of the sessions! Details below:

When: Fridays March 6, 13, 20, 27
Time: 9:30am-10:45am CST
Where: Grateful Yoga - 1108 Davis Street - Evanston, IL

Some of you may have noticed I’ve been offline for a little while. I just wanted to check in and let you know that, although I haven’t been active here, I definitely haven’t been idle!

Behind the scenes, I’ve been diving deep into continuing education - both for my board renewal and for my own growth in areas that deeply inspire me🙌🏼💕

As a provider, I’m always working to stay current with the latest insights in healing and wellness, while also challenging myself to elevate the standards of care in our field. My goal is to integrate all that’s possible to better support your healing journey.

Recently, I’ve been exploring topics such as trauma physiology, diving even deeper into myofascial dysfunction and pain, and ways to incorporate manual lymph drainage into our work together.

I’m super excited about all that I’m learning and can’t wait to share these new tools and perspectives with you!

For now, I’m FULLY immersed in this process of expanding my knowledge, skills, and understanding - so that when we reconnect, I can bring even more to our somatic coaching and myofascial release sessions.

Stay tuned, and I look forward to seeing you again soon! Photo credit - a friend gifted me a photo shoot with

Lately, I’ve been noticing how easy it is to slip into the fear loop — to scroll, tense, and absorb more than my nervous system can hold.

The moment I realized just how much I was carrying, everything shifted. I started making small, intentional changes to come back home to my body - to calm, presence, and trust.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the noise of the world, you’re not alone.

Our nervous systems can only take in so much - and learning how to care for them is an act of resistance and of healing.

Swipe through to see what helped me step off the fear timeline and into balance again.

Finding your footing in the middle of chaos and the world burning down around us - can feel impossible - but it’s where real strength begins.

Lately, many clients have asked me: “What are you doing to stay grounded during this time?”

Today, I’m sharing some of my thoughts and practices in the hope that they inspire you to connect with what helps you feel centered and release what no longer serves you.

Remember, emotions are energy in motion. When we allow ourselves to feel, that energy can move through us instead of getting stuck in us.

Most of us were never taught how to do that- how to truly feel and process our emotions. So if you find yourself needing extra support, please reach out to a trusted therapist or loved one for guidance.

In the meantime, if you’re willing to lean into what you feel, see what it’s like to let that energy move. Try one of the grounding practices I share here - or follow the movements and moments that bring you joy.

What a beautiful journey this year has been.

Women’s circles are sacred spaces - places to come exactly as you are. No masks, no fixing, no “shoulds.” Just being present, seen, and heard for who you truly are.

In circle, we remember that healing doesn’t always come from doing, but from being - being witnessed, being held, being connected with other women walking their own paths of growth and renewal.

Tonight marks our final circle of 2025, and what an honor it’s been to hold this space over the past year. Every story shared, every tear, every moment of laughter and silence has been medicine.

Here’s to the circles yet to come in the new year - to continuing to gather, heal, and rise together.
