My hubs and I find ourselves exploring the forests of Sequoia National Park and these amazing trees have had me awestruck and wanting nothing other than to slow down, simply listen and connect with these incredible giants. There is power in the pause.

Lately, I’ve been feeling a deep pull toward slowing down—allowing my roots to grow deeper rather than wider. These two reminders are at the forefront of my heart and are shaping how I choose to show up here on social media.

Sometimes stepping back allows us to step forward with more purpose, clarity, and peace. Taking time to pause isn’t about stopping—it’s about strengthening.

We’re thrilled to announce our Spring Reiki Attunements and Training at The New School For Massage in Chicago, IL, this April.

Reiki Level I is scheduled for Saturday, October 25th, from 10 AM to 6 PM CST. This session emphasizes self-healing and highlights the importance of caring for yourself before assisting others.

Reiki Level II will follow 21 days later, on Saturday, November 15th, from 10 AM to 6 PM. This level focuses on using Reiki to help others and developing the skills necessary for professional practice.

Additionally, we are excited to introduce our first-ever Reiki share at the end of May or the beginning of June. Please stay tuned for the specific date and time, which will be confirmed soon.

✨Feeling this past Full Moon that was in Aries?✨

Many of my clients are riding the waves of this fiery, passionate, forward-moving Aries energy right now. If you’re feeling it too, here’s a simple somatic release technique you can try:

🌀 Pillow Throw Release
• Grab a pillow.
• If you have shoulder injuries, tension, or pain — skip this step.
• Lift the pillow above your head.
• With full intention and energy, throw it to the floor.
• Repeat until you feel lighter or notice energy flowing more freely through your body.

🤍 Shake + Breath
• Shake off any excess energy.
• Take sharp, deep inhales and release with strong exhales — maybe even with sound.
• Notice what comes up.

If anything surfaces that feels heavy or needs deeper processing, connect with your therapist or counselor for support.

🌕 This past full moon was all about courage, passion, and forward motion - especially with regard to relationships and correcting any imbalances that may have been present — let the energy move through you instead of holding it in.

✨🙌🏼Every type of bodywork has its place — even the more active techniques, like cross-fiber friction and others. Over the years, though, I’ve found that when it comes to working with the fascial tissue, Myofascial Release (as developed and taught by John Barnes) consistently creates the deepest and most lasting results for my clients.

When the fascia is given an equal voice in the session—rather than being forced—the release happens at a much deeper level. The body feels heard, safe, and ready to let go, layer by layer, resulting in more profound and lasting changes.

Tonight I’m excited to gather with this month’s Women’s Full Moon Healing Circle - from 6 to 8 PM CST 🙌🏼💕🌕

We’ll be diving right into the energies of the Harvest Full Moon (in some circles it’s also called the Hunter’s Full Moon) that’s in the astrological sign of Aries♈️🐏

It’s also this year’s first ‘Supermoon,’ meaning that it’ll appear larger and brighter than other full moons.  

Before we meet I encourage participants to take some time to connect with the themes of your inner truth and needs - especially with regard to your relationships (whether with people, places, community, vocation, etc) - and boldly declare what these needs are and take decisive action to correct any imbalances that may be present.

Yesterday’s Radiant Transitions half-day retreat at the beautiful InTouch & Motion in Chicago was such a joy to share! 🌿✨

Although it was 80° outside, inside we were immersed in seasonal and somatic-based healing practices — breathing deeply, dancing freely, sharing in intentional movement, and setting conscious visions for how we want to move through the cooler months ahead.

I’m deeply grateful to the beautiful souls who showed up with openness, curiosity, and courage. You left with practical tools, embodied wisdom, and a little extra light to carry into the seasons to come. 🍂💛

Thank you for making this gathering so warm, connected, and alive. I can’t wait to hold space with you again!
