This fear can come from childhood experiences and even past-life experiences. If you continue to notice that this fear is affecting you and your relationships, it's time to do some work on it. I have client who is upleveling currently. Meaning, she is outgrowing her past, including the business she had, in order to create space for something more aligned. However, before coming to see me, she was struggling because she was taking this personally. Change and growth is not a personal attack. Oftentimes, it means you are READY FOR MORE.

The issue that is even bigger than the change itself is actually LEANING IN and TRUSTING the process. Trusting that the Universe has your back. Trusting that you'll be ok.

So, how are you upleveling in your career? In your love life? Do you trust that it'll all work out or are you worried and fearful?

This morning I was brought to tears by an incredible man who said something to me that made me feel like I mattered.

It was simple, but profound.

Why?

Because we only know what we know. We only know what we’ve experienced. We think that’s it.

This is with all things in life—our careers, our friendships, and of course, our love lives.

Sometimes you don’t realize how unhappy you were in your job until you have one that makes you feel purposeful.

Sometimes you don’t know a friend is unhealthy until you connect with another friend who brings you so much lightness.

Sometimes you don’t realize what you need until someone else is willing to offer it to you.

For the longest time, I thought that losing someone you love, whether its to death or to a separation, meant the love itself was gone.

But the truth is the love is still there. If you actually love someone, the love doesn’t just disappear. It shows up as grief for some time.

We try to avoid the love we felt—we get angry, we deflect, we blame. But it’s truly us just trying to avoid the deep sadness and not knowing where to put that love anymore.

If you’re going through a loss, that love still exists. It’s real. It always was. Now, you get to choose where to put it. Towards yourself? Towards your loved ones? Towards life itself?

You just need to remember that love shifts and will find you again.
