The American Cancer Society found that there are over 60,000 new cases of pancreatic cancer in the United States this year, with Black men leading incident rates more than any other demographic.
Screening for pancreatic cancer can be difficult and it cannot always be caught early. Listening to your body and learning your genetic history are very useful when meeting with your medical provider.
Our staff at St. Bernard is here to support Englewood and the South Side to better monitor and manage pancreatic cancer. Schedule an appointment at www.stbh.org or call (773) 962-4075.
