What a way to kick off our first General Body Meeting of 2026! On March 12, the MetroBoard family gathered to bridge the gap between community service and innovation.

We had an enlightening deep dive into the impact of food insecurity within Chicago’s Black communities and explored how proper nutrition is the ultimate fuel for our professional excellence and mental clarity.

Legacy in motion. 🕊️✨

Following the passing of civil rights icon Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. in February, MetroBoard members were honored to participate in the services at Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the House of Hope to pay their final respects.

In a powerful segment on ABC 7 Chicago, our Civic Engagement Co-chair Jaylin McClinton and Alum Ashley Munson spoke to Samantha Chatman about what the Reverend’s legacy means for young professionals in Chicago today.
