Another successful ACLS training at Lions SightFirst eye hospital. We worked closely with the team to ensure they fully understood their defibrillator and built confidence through hands-on practice and real-life emergency scenarios.

Through training like this, we continue to strengthen emergency response and build confidence where it counts most.

At Global FICCS, we remain committed to educating, elevating, and empowering healthcare professionals as we work toward a future where more lives are protected and more teams feel ready to act when every second matters.

Today, as we celebrate International Women's Day, we honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere. As a women-led organization dedicated to educating, elevating, and empowering, Global FICCS is incredibly proud of the women we work with and interact with every day.

We see you. We value you. And we recognize that our mission would not be possible without the powerful women who continue to inspire change in communities around the world.

This Women’s Month, we are cheering for you, standing with you, and believing in you. Thank you for your courage, your impact, and simply for existing.

You are the reason we educate, elevate, and empower💜✨

We had the privilege of attending the beautiful graduation ceremony at Hawkers Market Girls Center, celebrating an incredible group of young women who successfully completed their 6-month vocational training in hairdressing, dressmaking, beauty, computer skills, and first aid.

Their dedication, resilience, and determination to finish the program inspire us deeply. Through the leadership of Shariffa and the nurturing support of Isabela, the center continues to open doors for girls across Nairobi who may not have had the opportunity to complete their secondary or tertiary education due to financial challenges.

These young women leave not only with skills, but with confidence, sisterhood, and the ability to build financially independent futures.

We were also deeply honored to receive a certificate of appreciation on behalf of Global FICCS for walking hand in hand with the girls on this journey. It is a reminder of the power of community and what can happen when we support and believe in one another.

This is what it truly means to educate, elevate, and empower. ✨

Our hearts are so full as we celebrate a powerful first Global FICCS’ West African virtual BLS & ACLS training in Benin, led with passion and excellence by our Program Manager, Caroline.

This training was a moment of connection, purpose, and shared commitment to saving lives.

In partnership with Fondation Césaire Maffon an organization born from personal loss and driven by the promise that no one in Benin should die from an undiagnosed or untreated heart condition, we had the privilege of training 40 medical personnel from the Benin Republic Armed Forces Health Services under the leadership of Colonel-Major Léonce Ahouanvoeke.

Through this collaboration, Global FICCS continues to educate, elevate, and empower.

Cardiovascular care begins when there's zeal, opportunities to learn, and with people who are trained, equipped, and inspired.

We are deeply grateful to the Heart and Life team for helping us set up the webinar, to AJ for bringing this vision to life, and to our valued partners Dennis & Jane Reese Foundation and The Global Cardiovascular Collaborative for walking this journey with us.

To the team at Fondation Césaire Maffon, thank you for trusting us. Your mission is powerful, and your commitment is inspiring. Together, we are building stronger skills, stronger systems, and a future where more lives are saved.

We celebrate Dr. Fred for his dedication, expertise, and humility as he educates, elevates and empowers through teaching the team SightFirst Eye Hospital how to use the defibrillator and navigate scenarios where it could save a life.

These life-saving skills are invaluable, and watching Dr.Fred share his knowledge with such confidence is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him as part of our dream team and are so proud of how far he’s come.

We see you, Dr. Fred, and we celebrate you!

We’re so excited to be using the HeartiSense cprCUBE PRO3 which was brought to Nairobi by . Parag, and it’s already making such a beautiful difference in our trainings.

This incredible CPR training device gives real-time feedback, helping our learners understand their compressions better and build real confidence in their life-saving skills.

Our sessions become more interactive, more efficient, and even more impactful which reminds us why we do what we do. Dr. Parag’s dedication to raising the standard of our work continues to shape the quality of the training we offer.

With tools like this, we continue to educate, elevate, and empower.

Joined by Foundation, we had the privilege of visiting the girls at Hawkers Market Girls Center. Thanks to Shariffa, Isabella, and the many well-wishers who support their day-to-day operations, the girls are truly thriving.

They proudly showed us the beautiful bags and aprons they hand-make through the dressmaking course offered at the center, which is a powerful reminder of just how talented, grounded, and hardworking they are. Watching their growth, confidence, and humility is nothing short of inspiring.

These handmade bags are currently on sale, and every purchase goes directly toward motivating the girls and supporting the center, from buying materials to keeping the space running.

We are incredibly proud of them. They embody our mission to educate, elevate, and empower.

Visit our website on the link on our bio to read their full story and learn how you can support their programs.

On our recent trip to Magadi, we had the privilege of teaching BLS and First Aid skills to the Lentorre staff.

In this video testimonial, the manager shared how valuable and impactful the training was, highlighting how they now confidently apply these skills in emergencies and share this knowledge with others.

It’s clear that the Lentorre team is educated, elevated, and empowered, perfectly embodying the mission of Global FICCS.

In mathare, emergencies can happen when help isn’t always just around the corner. That’s why teaching students life-saving skills like chest compressions is so important.

They tell us these skills are important and empowering in that they can protect their friends, family, and neighbors. Since medical care access is limited due to financial issues.

At Global FICCS, we’re here to educate, elevate, and empower, giving young people the confidence and knowledge to act when it matters most.

We're always impressed with their courage to try and their zeal to learn. They show a lot of humility and grit. We're super proud of these young ones.

We recently had another successful training at Lions, and it was such a meaningful experience for all of us. With the Global FICCS team and the Disque Foundation team in the room, there was a real sense of togetherness and shared purpose.

Led by Dr. Parag and Dr. Erin, we walked through ECG interpretation in a way that felt practical, clear, and encouraging. It wasn’t just about the content but about learning in a supportive space where questions were welcomed and everyone felt engaged.

We’re grateful for the time, the guidance, and the partnership that made this session special. Moments like these remind us why we do this work, to keep learning, keep growing, and continue to educate, elevate, and empower together.

Last week reminded us how powerful partnership truly is. We had the privilege of spending time with our longtime partners, the Disque Foundation, who have walked this journey with Global FICCS for over a decade. Their belief in our mission and their continued support have made it possible for us to offer BLS, ACLS, and First Aid certifications, and to share life-saving educational content through their platform. We are deeply grateful for the role they play in helping our mission come to life.

What made the week even more meaningful was the opportunity to learn and grow together. The Disque Foundation team generously shared their knowledge through a practical and thoughtful workshop on nonprofit fundamentals, including website development, marketing, operations, and AI. These sessions gave us clarity, confidence, and fresh perspective on how we can serve better and work smarter.

As a team, we walked away feeling encouraged, supported, and empowered. We are excited to carry these lessons into our daily work as we continue to educate, elevate, and empower, while also allowing ourselves to be elevated along the way.

We were also grateful to be joined by our partners, Therapists Beyond Borders, who shared in this learning experience with us. Thank you to our partners for your trust, your generosity, and for growing with us.

We've kicked off the year with a powerful retreat at Lentorre Lodge , strengthening our core team, reflecting on an impactful 2025, and planning an even stronger 2026. Beyond strategy and bonding, we also trained the incredible Lentorre staff in BLS and First Aid.

Being located deep in the wild, emergencies like heat exhaustion, snake bites, or animal injuries are real risks, so equipping the team with lifesaving skills means greater safety, confidence, and resilience. Even better, they can now pass this knowledge to the Magadi community, helping create local trainers and champions.

A huge thank you to group of companies and for continuously believing in our mission to educate, elevate, and empower

Our Story

We are an organization devoted to fostering the development of education and healthcare services for underserved communities in East Africa.

We provide medical supplies and equipment, education, training and physician clinical services to Kenya. Dr. Patel and his team of doctors travel twice a year to Kenya to perform free surgeries and also provide medicine and supplies to local clinics and schools. Women and children are our priority as we work with AIDS orphans, young women's groups and disadvantaged populations.

Dr. Patel and FICCS has been performing cardiovascular surgeries, free of charge, and has donated over $2 million worth of medical supplies to hospitals in Kenya since 2003.
