300+ older adults reached. One powerful step toward healthier hearts.

Our team recently hosted a Heart Disease Awareness Seminar and care packaging event at the Minnie Riperton Senior Building. CBA brought together education, support, and essential resources all in one place.

Heart disease continues to impact so many in our community, and we’re committed to showing up where it matters most — with knowledge, care, and support.

One of the quietest struggles we see in occupational therapy isn’t always physical, it’s the grief that comes with change. Through illness, caregiving, and aging, it’s natural to grieve the roles and routines we once knew.

At CBA, our on-campus therapies help rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence through personalized care. We partner with Smyl Fitness Rx, bringing older adults a tech-enabled fall prevention and fitness platform designed to prevent falls before they happen.

April is Medicaid Awareness Month.

Medicaid plays a vital role in helping millions of older adults access the care, services, and support they need to live safely and independently. From healthcare coverage to long-term care, it’s a lifeline for so many in our communities.

Everyone deserves quality care at every stage of life.

Parkinson’s disease is often diagnosed after age 60, and men are about 1.5 times more likely to develop it than women (Parkinson's Foundation).

However, behind the statistics are real people navigating daily challenges with strength and determination.

In April, we honor those living with Parkinson’s, support caregivers, and raise awareness about the importance of early recognition, research, and community support.

On March 19, in celebration of Saint Joseph’s Day, the CBA team gathered outside St. Bernard’s Hospital by the statue of St. Joseph.

Together, we honored a truly great man and devoted father, reflecting on his strength, humility, and enduring example. In a quiet gesture of reverence, we also placed flowers and candles at the statue, offering a moment of prayer and gratitude.
