Join us at CWHC on Saturday, March 21st for the first Trans Health Group Clinic (THGC) of 2026. THGC is a community-centered space for trans/gender-nonconforming people to discuss and learn about gender-affirming care in a confidential group setting. Attendees will also have access to gender-affirming care services such as one-on-one time with a nurse practitioner, routine blood testing, blood pressure reading, and routine hormone therapy.

For many who are invested or interested in gender-affirming care, grassroots community is necessary for finding trustworthy and reliable care resources. THGC integrates our trans health services into a space that fosters community growth and amplifies individual perspectives. This opportunity is available on a sliding scale of $50-$10. This does not include potential lab fees. Clients are welcome to use self-pay or insurance, and no one is turned away based on their ability to pay.

Interested? Learn more and sign up at www.chicagowomenshealthcenter.org/hrt-group-clinic.

When and where: Saturday, March 21st from 12pm-2pm, in-person at CWHC

We are thrilled to introduce Kaylin (she/her), CWHC’s new Clinical Services Administrator! Kaylin’s contributions to our Clinical Services Program will strengthen existing systems and improve services for our clients.

To help introduce her, we asked Kaylin to answer a few questions about her work at CWHC:

What drew you to work at CWHC?

"After supporting a variety of health care environments administratively, I found myself hopeful to shift into a role where access, education, and autonomy are priorities of care. I'm so grateful to be a part of the CWHC team, as I feel that the work is in alignment with the values I hold."

What is something you want people to know about the work that CWHC does?

"There is so much behind the scenes work to ensure that the care CWHC offers reflects the ever-evolving needs of the communities we serve! Folks who receive care at the health center should feel empowered to provide feedback knowing that it will be deeply valued."

[Image description: a picture of Kaylin. Kaylin is a white woman with short red hair. In the picture, she is sitting in front of light colored, slightly textured wallpaper in a grey chair with a tall back. She is looking at the camera with a closed mouth smile.]
