Oh man.. A post advertising one of my uoha classes sparked the "yoga in not Christian so you shouldnt do it" debate.
The way I see it, Yoga is a physical and mindful practice that complements any walk of life. It’s not about replacing anyone’s faith; it’s about creating a quiet enough space in the mind to honor whatever it is you believe in.
​The goal of my class is for you to leave feeling more grounded and centered than when you walked in. How you interpret that peace—spiritually, religiously, or simply as a deep breath—is your own beautiful journey.

​The final 30+ minutes of class will be dedicated to a long Savasana featuring Yoga Nidra.

Full Moon Check-in: How are we feeling? 🌕✨
​To be honest, this moon has me feeling a little off-center tonight. The energy feels intense, and instead of pushing through it, I’m taking it as a sign to slow down.
​In yoga, we talk a lot about the lunar energy affecting our water (emotions) and our bodies. If you are feeling:
〰️ Anxious or "buzzy"
〰️ Unusually tired
〰️ Emotionally heavy
​You aren't alone. Try Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani) for 10 minutes to ground that energy back down.
