The sensory aspect of the nervous system consists of pain, light touch, deep pressure, compression, vibration, temperature, proprioception, and form recognition senses.

Lack of integrity of any and/ or all of these senses can cause a variety of symptoms such as pain at the site or elsewhere, numbness, tingling, lack of awareness of joint positions, arthritis, lack of awareness of injuries when they happen, poor miscle coordintion, poor muscle-joint stability chronic pain, chronic injuries, increase pain or swelling with hot or cold packs, and more.

I use technique and its red/infra-red light to assess and treat the individual sensory deficits or the combination of sensory deficits or overactivities that I find.

Be careful of "Natural Sweetener"...

Since humans started consuming HFCS, obesity rates have more than tripled and diabetes incidence has increased more than seven fold since.

Butter is one of the healthiest fats on the planet. It's not just a big pile of yellow-colored fat, there are many important nutrients in there, some of which have potent biological effects. Despite having been demonized in the past, real grass-fed butter is one of the healthiest fats on the planet....

Here is a Public Safety Announcement that you can use your own judgement about whether you think it matters to you or not. I was talking to a friend who I had change the water he was drinking due to all the crap in tap water. He was telling me that a client of his, who is a nurse at a hospital told him that they used to put expired medications in the hazardous/ needle waste boxes, but since addicts started to open those boxes & dump them out for the medications, they decided to wash them down the sinks instead.
Unless the hospitals have heavy duty filtration systems for their waste water, that water is likely going into the city water system. No Bueno! I don't personally know the solution to tell them where to throw away their medications, but if medications are being broken down into our city water via large hospital systems, instead of just individuals flushing them down their toilets at home (which is bad enough), just wait for more health issues to spring up.
Here are a couple water filters I recommend to patients (these are ones you pour water into, not systems). One is cheaper & decent. The other is a little more heavy duty & they can even be combined. The cheaper one, which is still pretty good is the Zero Water filter (similar to Britta, but better in my opinion & it comes with something to measure the parts per million (ppm) in water. It should be 0.0 - 0.006, while city tap water usually is over 2.0). http://www.zerowater.com
The other I recommend is the Berkley Filter, which has many size options. http://www.berkeyfilters.com/ It removes everything else. It is an interesting read on what it does. It also has the option of a Fluoride Filter on everything but their portable.
You can also combine if you like to double filter.
I am sure there are probably other filter systems that are good, but these are the ones I like so far.

Just to clarify, there is a big difference between Health Care & The Health Care System. Health Care is the responsibility of both the government & the individual (as well as the parent/guardian for the underage children). Its is the Government's responsibility to make sure that our drinking water is clean & healthy to drink & hold those responsible who make it not so (wether it is an individual, corporation or themselves). It is also their responsibility to make sure that no-one is poisoning our food supply & if someone is, hold them responsible, no matter who the responsible party is. It is the government's responsibility to not allow those who are adding various substances (chemically derived or otherwise) to foods & let them say they are safe, unless they are unquestionably, without a doubt, safe.
It is the individual's responsibility to drink enough good water a day to hydrate them, as well as to help them detoxify their system & help create barriers in their lungs & gut to help protect them from allergens, bacteria, viruses, etc.
It is the individual's responsibility to make the choices to eat quality food, eat enough vegetables, enough healthy fats, red meat done rare to medium rare, fish, bacon, some fruits, etc....real food.
It is the individual's responsibility to exercise & move around doing some type of physical activity.
This is Health Care. Health Care is preventative.
The Health Care System is ideally used for accidental traumas, congenital conditions that effects how your body functions properly, infections & various other diseases....something done to bridge the gap until you can regain responsibility and get your health back on track. This means very few medications, for very few conditions need to be lifelong prescriptions. Take what you need to to get pass the crisis, then work with your dr who put you on the meds & any other health care provider that can help you get off the meds with their known & unknown side-effects & once again take control of your Health Care.
I think there is failure on both sides, on the most part, with a lack of responsibility (which I know both sides probably do not want to hear), which in my opinion leads to increased Health Care System costs & decreases in quality of life as we age & more diseases as we age. It is also, in my opinion reversible, but again that takes responsibility & effort on both parts.....

Hi. So most of you know I am a Chiropractic Physician & Applied Kinesiologist. I am not licensed to put patients on or take them off prescriptive medications.
I would like to share some opinions though, that I hope will help people live higher qualities of life. This is opinion based on knowledge, observation & 18 years of experience of treating patients to my highest ability (Hopefully my highest ability improves with every year with all the continuing courses I take).
In my opinion, medications may be needed in emergency situations, congenital conditions, sometimes to get you over or through a cycle of circumstances & there is always the "?" category.
If people made the conscious choice to make lifestyle changes to have a better quality of life (increase their good water intake (non-floridated, non reverse-osmosis, not-tap (at least not Chicago tap)), decrease their sugar intake (sugar, breads, alcohol). eliminate the fake sugar & other chemically based "foods", eat more healthy meat (including rare to medium rare red meat) & exercise (whatever gets you moving), you can get off most, if not all, your medications, with working with the doctor who put you on the medications to ensure you can come off them in a safe way.
There are various alternative health care providers that can help with this process (though always try to get a personal referral vs play Russian Roulette with your health): Chiropractors who are Applied Kinesiologists, TBM providers &/ or Functionally Nutrition based, Naturopaths & Acupuncturists.
The more medications I see patients on, the less healthy they are & when they choose not to make the lifestyle changes needed, they tend to continue to get less healthy & be put on more medications & the cycle continues. Their quality of life steadily declines.
The medications try to micro-manage your physiology to hopefully get you over a crisis. You choose to stay in crisis, except in rare circumstances. The micro-managing of your physiology will make the numbers on your tests better, just like having the answers to a written test before hand will help you pass the exam. I don't know if you want to count on that body to perform for you as you would want to count on a surgeon or attorney (pick the profession) to be the person working on or for you, who cheated their way through school. Your body's systems need to fluctuate at times in various circumstances, not stay still at one level. Also you are taking an indicator of health & chemically altering it so that it's numbers don't mean what they used to, but you are pretending they do.
Just something to think about. If you have read this far, thank you & I hope this was found to be thought provoking at the very least.
