Why is it so hard to stay on track… when we’re with other people?
It’s usually about:
-not wanting to look awkward
-not wanting to say no
-not wanting to disrupt the moment
Especially for many of us as women, food is tied to connection.
So instead of relying on willpower (which doesn’t work well in social situations), I’ve been thinking more about simple, repeatable strategies that actually fit real life.
That’s what this infographic is about 👇.
A few ideas that make a big difference:
1. Have a couple of go-to phrases ready (so you’re not deciding in the moment)
2. Stay warm and connected—but delay the food, not the relationship
3. Make it easier on yourself by shaping your environment (where you go, what’s available)
Just remember: you don’t need to be perfect. You just need decisions you can repeat in real life scenarios.
If this resonates, try picking 1 phrase to use this week and see how it feels.
Curious—which situation is hardest for you? Eating out? Work snacks? Family gatherings?
