As a Chicago-based chapter, we at Sisters Network Chicago honor Rev. Jesse Jackson not only as a national and international voice for justice, but as a leader who lived among us, organized here, and helped shape Chicago’s legacy of advocacy, faith, and action. Through his leadership with the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and decades of tireless service, he challenged inequity, uplifted marginalized voices, and inspired generations to stand for dignity, opportunity, and equality throughout the world.
May his legacy continue to inspire us to serve with compassion, speak with courage, and stand together for justice.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
