Meet the team: Katie Bellamy, Casey McDonagh, Hannah Conner, Ashantis Jones, & Jayme Kelton.

We’re a team of therapists, coaches, and energy healers offering virtual talk therapy, somatic therapy, mental health coaching, energy healing, speaking/presentations, workshops, and corporate wellness events.

We are all accepting new clients and with our various approaches, specialties, and rates, we can help you if you’re looking for support. We offer 1:1 therapy in Illinois and Massachusetts and mental health coaching worldwide.

If you’re a digital nomad, travel frequently, or live somewhere other than Illinois or Massachusetts, we may still be able to support you through mental health coaching. If you’re curious, book a consultation call and we’ll chat through options.

In addition to 1:1 support, we often host workshops, therapeutic events, and trainings. We can also curate a training, workshop, or event if you have a specific need and we love joining corporate teams to provide wellness in the workplace.

Katie offers Reiki energy healing as well as Reiki training. The Reiki training is self-paced and easily accessible, offered virtually so you can get trained any time, anywhere.

Surviving Collective Trauma🤍

By no means an exhaustive list, here are a few things on my mind in hopes of to sharing supportive practices and reminders.

Usually when we think of trauma healing, we think of recovering from past trauma.

At the moment, we are collectively in it. We are (and many more than others) actively experiencing trauma, vicarious trauma, or collective trauma.

Scroll though for a few ways to manage this, including:
🤍Reducing the impact of harm, whenever possible

Note, this does not mean avoiding or shutting down, especially if you’re in a privileged place to help.

🤍Building community

Community is the antidote to isolation, collective harm, and oppression.

🤍Advocate

For some, this may mean self-care and existence as resistance. For others, this means finding your role and purpose and continuing on your path.

We must express rage, fight, and protect without falling into apathy, hopelessness, or isolation. 🤍

4 things recovering people pleasers may need to hear:

✨You’re not responsible for others’ feelings or experiences✨
This means you can release the guilt and refocus on you. Guilt and responsibility is different from empathy and accountability. This also means there’s likely a need to release control and to uncover what safety means to you.

✨You can set boundaries✨
You’re allowed to say no to who and what no longer feels aligned and to say to who and what does. This means you need to and get to self reflect and identity what it is you need and want.

✨You’re allowed to take up space✨
You’re allowed to and encouraged to communicate your feelings, advocate for your needs, and be your most authentic self. This means turning inward and allowing your own path to light the way without overly focusing on those around and leaving a sliver of attention for yourself.

✨Your emotional safety matters✨
This means you get as much emotional safety as you carve out for others. This means repatterning the way you gain safety and not ensuring everyone’s contentment in order to drop into safety. This means curating spaces that feel safe and exiting ones that don’t.

✨5 Signs of Burnout✨
Burnout doesn’t usually arrive all at once. It builds quietly, until your body and mind can’t ignore it anymore.

Here are five signs you might notice in yourself:
    1.    Consistent sleep issues
    2.    Increasing irritability
    3.    Losing touch with empathy
    4.    Appetite shifts
    5.    Physical and emotional fatigue

If you see yourself here, you’re not broken. Your nervous system is showing you that it’s been in overdrive.

🌿There are four bathrooms in the Villa, so each room is designated one bathroom
