Start off your weekend with a boost!

Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) is a water soluble vitamin typically found in animal products and in shellfish in our diets. Our gut's bacteria help synthesize and metabolize this vitamin to support our neurologic system ("brain and nerves") and energy ("mitochondria"). This injection is particularly indicated for people with imbalanced gut microbiomes, conditions that limit their oral nutrient absorption, use of PPI medications (such as Omeprezole) long term, or people with vegetarian / vegan / allergy limited diets. Symptoms associated with B12 deficiency will worsen without treatment but luckily this injection is safe and well tolerated!

No need to call or schedule...just pop by our Wheaton, Lincoln Park or Mt Greenwood office on Fridays!
