I’m truly grateful for life, strength, and the purpose God placed on my heart.

Kidney disease doesn’t happen overnight.
For many people, it starts with things we hear about every day — diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and family history.

Diabetes is actually one of the leading causes of kidney failure, and that’s part of my story.

This month is Kidney Awareness Month, and I’m using my voice to educate, encourage, and raise awareness through my brand Living Life With The “D.”

I’ve lived this journey — diabetes, kidney failure, dialysis, and everything that comes with it. But through it all I’m still standing and still spreading awareness.

Take care of your body.
Check your blood sugar.
Check your blood pressure.
Protect your kidneys.
