Rising team members Tim Rankin, Sandra Seymour, Karen Hickner, Jennifer Yeager, Alicia Sommers, and Julie Jansen were among the attendees at the Indiana Workers' Compensation Institute's (IWCI) 2nd Annual Launch Party. This informal event provided Indiana work comp professionals with the oppportunity to meet IWCI board members, mingle with organization sponsors, connect with industry colleagues, and discover IWCI's 2026 theme and educational calendar. With Tim serving as an IWCI board member and Rising as an organization sponsor, expect lots more Team Rising involvement in IWCI activities as the year unfolds. Stay tuned!

Recently promoted to MRU Operations Manager, Lurice has embraced her new role with her signature positivity, making for a smooth leadership transition. Holiday fun has been on the menu all month long at Rising's Milwaukee office. From a hot cocoa bar to a cookie decorating challenge, the team has sipped and snacked their way through this season of good cheer. Just look at how pleased Walter is with his whipped cream-filled Cindy Lou Who mug 🐕 Making spirits even brighter was last Thursday's annual ugly Christmas sweater contest featuring bedazzled animals, pop culture icons, and a whole lotta plaid! Experts say dress for the job you want. Cozying up to Rising CEO Jason Beans in her Pittie Clothing Company pjs last week, Greta certainly seemed to be lobbying for the yet-to-be-established role of Chief Cuddle Officer. From the look on her face in the final photo, Greta appears quite confident she aced the informal interview!

For the fourth consecutive year, Rising debuted new, limited-edition trouser socks at National Comp, the work comp industry's largest annual conference. At our exhibitor booth, members of Team Rising enthusiastically modeled the 2025 design, and attendees who stopped by received complimentary pairs of the latest style. One of Rising's core values is "Laugh Often, It is Contagious," and our Carmel, IN office is always finding new opportunities to infuse laughter into the lives of frontline claims professionals. Earlier this fall, Rising partnered with Athletico Physical Therapy, Genex Services, Greenwood Orthopaedics, H-Wave, Objective Medical, Objective Surgical, Reconstructive Hand to Shoulder of Indiana, Sunrise Medical Solutions, Wright Rehabilitation Services, and the law firm of Dugan, Wyatt & Czernick LLC to host an adjuster outing from the greater Indianapolis area to Cincinnati. The bus trip kicked off with lunch, then an Ohio River cruise aboard BB Riverboats, followed by a visit to Cincinnati's Oktoberfest celebration, and culminated with a baseball match-up between the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago Cubs at the Great American Ball Park. Many thanks to all who attended. It was an awesome day spent with awesome people!
