On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honor a leader who stood for dignity, justice, and the belief that people can grow and change.

Recovery reflects many of the same values Dr. King spoke about: hope, perseverance, accountability, and the importance of community. Healing happens when people are supported, respected, and given real opportunities to rebuild their lives.

Today, we reflect on how his legacy challenges us to reduce stigma, expand access to support, and continue building spaces where recovery can take root.

Every step forward matters. Every person matters.

Juneteenth marks the day when the promise of freedom reached those still in bondage—two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s a day of truth, resilience, and the power of a people who refused to be forgotten.

At Phoenix Recovery, we honor the legacy of those who came before us and draw strength from their courage. This day reminds us that freedom is not just a moment in history—it’s a commitment we carry forward.

We celebrate liberation. We keep moving toward justice.

Freedom still matters. Recovery is liberation.
