Jason Prinzo Mental Health

Jason Prinzo Mental Health Mental Health Keynote Speaker and Corporate Wellness Consultant At a very young age music was always Jason’s escape from the world
around him.

Mental health advocate, public speaker, and living
testament to the power of resilience and self-transformation. Born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati, OH, Jason has lived
through a number of physically and emotionally traumatic events. These
experiences essentially laid the foundation for much of the mental health
challenges he would face later in life. Against a lot of odds, and despite not having a formal
education past high school, he was able to forge a successful career in the
music industry. With over 25 years experience working in Radio & Record
Promotion, Jason has intimate knowledge of the stress and emotional
challenges that many people face working in our industry today and the
effects it can have on our mental health

When asked to describe how Mental Illness effects him professionally,
Jason would go on to say “By all accounts I was ‘successful’. Especially
considering the hand I was initially dealt. The problem was – I wasn’t able
to enjoy any of it. Depression, anxiety, anger, and imposter syndrome
violently chewed at my very core. I woke up every morning wondering if it
would be the day that everything I had worked for would be taken away”
“As a public speaker and workshop facilitator, I now fearlessly stand before
audiences to tell my story, and how I live and deal with my mental health
challenges on a daily basis. I’m fortunate to be in a situation where I can
not only shed light on the realities mental illness (and the devastating
impact it can have on both individuals and the workforce) – but also share
the transformative potential of seeking help. I’ve found that by doing this, I
can challenge the many misconceptions surrounding mental health – as
well as foster empathy, promote self-care – and inspire individuals to
embark on their own paths of coping and discovery.”
