This prestigious award highlights residents whose commitment to Osteopathic principles distinguishes them within their program and the profession.

Generously funded by the American Osteopathic Foundation, the American Osteopathic Association's Training in Policy Studies (TIPS) program is a policy-based program that provides an understanding of current health care policy issues while also facilitating leadership opportunities.

This program serves as an initial leadership and policy program for residents wishing to become more active within the Osteopathic profession. TIPS fellows have gone on to serve in leadership and policy development roles both within and outside of the Osteopathic community. Some have also continued their policy training by participating in the Health Policy Fellowship program, which has produced over 20 deans and college of Osteopathic medicine presidents.

The nomination forms for four AOF awards and the application for the AOF/AOAO Osteopathic Research and Education for Orthopedics (ORE-O) Grant opened today!

The ORE-O Grant provides financial support for Osteopathic orthopedic endeavors in research and education for the advancement of the profession and to provide opportunities for publishing such research.

The State Emerging Leader Awards recognize the outstanding talent of new physicians in practice across the country. Each year, from the group of nominees, one new physician in practice will be chosen to receive the National Emerging Leader Award.

The AOF Educator of the Year Award honors and recognizes professionals who have dedicated their life to teaching and the pursuit of advancing the Osteopathic profession through educational activities.

The AOF Physician of the Year Award annually recognizes an Osteopathic physician whose dedication and leadership has dramatically improved the lives of their patients and their community.

New this year, the AOF/AOiA Digital Health Excellence Award recognizes an Osteopathic physician whose leadership in ethical, impactful digital health integration is advancing patient care and reducing physician burden.
