Let’s take a look back at another one of our top moments from earlier this year.
A grateful and incredibly talented patient surprised his spine surgeon with a birthday performance to remember. Ezra was born with several complex medical conditions including a spine curve which worsened to greater than 100 degrees. In Fall 2024, Halo gravity traction and spine surgery helped Ezra get back to what he loves! Ezra, is a violinist with the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras.

After noticing a balloon that had floated to the ceiling in the Indoor Ballreich Patient Activity Mall, Sam, a patient in halo traction mentioned it to Mike, Director of Facilities. The Facilities team went above and beyond — surprising Sam with a behind-the-scenes look at some of their equipment. Moments like this show how our staff goes above and beyond every day to create positive experiences for our patients and families.

Sam is here receiving halo gravity traction to help straighten his spine curve. Learn more about our AMAZING spine care. 🔗 https://ow.ly/Q1Jm50XMLTj.
