Dr Victor Pavlych was born in Uzhgorod, Western Ukraine. At the age of 18 he and his family immigrated to Chicago. Dr Pavlych always had a passion for dentistry which led him to enroll at UIC College of Dentistry. He graduated in 2005 and immediately began an additional GPR Residency training at Loyola University Medical Center. The 1 year rigorous GPR program allowed Dr Pavlych to perfect his technique and further his education by working alongside many specialists in areas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic and Laser Dentistry, Fixed and Removable Dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, in addition to Anesthesia training and General and Emergency Medicine
Following his residency, Dr Pavlych assumed a position as an Attending Dentist at Edward Hines Jr VA Medical Center. During his 8 year appointment at the Medical Center, Dr Pavlych successfully performed many implant procedures including single and multiple implant placement, hard and soft tissue grafting, open and closed sinus augmentations, full mouth rehabilitations, implant or natural dentition based, or combination of both, as well as practice of general dentistry. Dr Pavlych has completed many additional continuing education hours in various areas of dentistry, always keeping up with new technologies, procedures, and materials. In the Summer of 2014 Dr Pavlych opened doors of his private practice. He named it Contemporary Dental and Implant Centre to underline his commitment to provide advanced treatments to his patients along with the newest equipment offered in his practice.
