So proud of this smile makeover! This patient came to us with an open bite, severe crowding, midline asymmetry, and three impacted premolars that were stuck under the gums.

With a customized treatment plan using braces and a gingivectomy (a simple procedure to reshape the gums for a healthier, more even smile), we were able to align everything beautifully and bring her bite together.

Her final smile is healthier, brighter, and more balanced. She is feeling more confident and can’t stop smiling!

This patient came to us with an edge-to-edge bite and a posterior crossbite, both of which can lead to tooth wear, jaw discomfort, and difficulty chewing.

Our patient came to us with:

👉 A deep overbite

👉 Ectopically erupting canines

To create the right amount of space and achieve a healthy, balanced bite, we treated him with premolar extractions and comprehensive orthodontic treatment. The result is a beautifully aligned smile and stable bite!

💡 Why extractions are sometimes necessary:

In patients who are done growing, there’s limited natural space to move crowded teeth. Trying to straighten everything without extractions can push teeth too far forward, which may lead to gum recession, bone loss, flared incisors or an unstable bite.

By planning extractions carefully, we can align teeth within the bone’s natural limits which protects the gums and ensures a healthy, long-lasting smile. ✨
