I have worked in the senior living world since 1995 in various positions including building level operations positions in activities, memory care, sales and administration as well as regional and national corporate roles over the last 20 years. I am a Certified Recreational Therapist, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer for the National C
ouncil of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). I am passionate about teaching and sharing my practical experiences and gained knowledge regarding memory care and life enrichment and have facilitated high quality group trainings and conference presentations for 15 years with audience sizes varying from 20-100. I am not just a lecturer - with an interactive style, I like to engage participants to share their own stories and experiences in a manner that is fun and approachable. I have presented at National AHCA, ALFA Conferences and several state level conferences including Ohio and Iowa and IL area conferences over the years.
