Shedding & Stillness

Sunday 1/11 | 6–8pm | $55 energy exchange

Join us for a slow, intentional evening of detox, meditation, and collective care.

We’ll be sharing sacred Amazonian plant medicine teas from the Shipibo tribe of Peru, whose plant wisdom has been passed down through generations. These teas are traditionally used to support the body during times of transition and illness, offering immune-boosting and respiratory-supporting properties—especially supportive with what’s currently circulating seasonally.

We’ll be working with:
• Mucura, known for its cleansing, immune-supportive, and protective qualities
• A Lung Tea Blend, paired with a small alcohol-based tincture (“shot”), traditionally used to help open the lungs, support respiration, and strengthen vitality

Each participant will also receive small take-home portions to continue the support beyond the gathering.

Astrologically, this Sunday falls at the very end of the lunar cycle, just before the New Moon begins—a deeply healing window. This is a time for shedding, softening, and releasing what no longer needs to be carried before new intentions are planted. We’ll work with this energy by slowing down rather than pushing, honoring rest as medicine.

The evening will include:
• An intentional Amazonian tea ceremony
• Guided meditation led by David
• Sound healing offered by Shirley, supporting nervous system regulation and deeper integration
• Space to reflect, release, and reset
• A take-home meditation audio to support your continued integration as well as herbal tinctures

✨ Community Giving ✨
There will be discounted tapestries available, and all proceeds from tapestry sales will directly support the Shipibo tribes in Peru. This gathering is a way to nourish ourselves while giving back—your presence helps sustain Indigenous wisdom, culture, and livelihoods. ❤️‍🔥

WOW. 2025 has definitely been a snake year. ❤️‍🔥
So much shedding. So much moving through the darkness. Rebirth after rebirth. 😮‍💨

This year brought deeper collaborations, richer community, profound healing, and so much joy. 🙏🏽🥲

The studio has held so much space, and I’m endlessly grateful for that. 💝 I finally got to collaborate with so many incredible humans who trusted the vision and wanted to co-create together — thank you for meeting me there. 🫂

Together, we raised funds for meaningful causes, shared healing and resources, and created spaces rooted in care and intention. I also had the honor of working 1:1 with so many amazing people who trusted me with their wellness journeys, something I never take lightly. 🙏🏽

On a personal level, I stepped into a plant medicine journey with the support and guidance of an incredible guide and collaborator, and I’m deeply grateful for the care, integrity, and wisdom they brought. That support helped me thoughtfully and responsibly bring parts of that medicine and learning into the studio space as well. 💞

I have so much planned that I’m excited to bring into the studio and beyond. ✈️
I’m incredibly thankful and grateful for every person who has been part of my journey and who has allowed me to be part of theirs. 🫶🏽

Another little gem and cue I love to share in class, and one that really applies to life too, is don’t chase the feeling.

Be present with where you are. When you create the action I’m guiding you into, the sensation will come. The body doesn’t have another option but to do what it needs to do when the setup is right.

We’re not hunting for the feeling or trying to get somewhere else. Our actions, our movement, and our choices guide us there naturally.

And that’s life too. Don’t force it. Just be. ✨

Dorian and I felt called to hold space — a place to express, release, and return to the body. 🙏🏽 This system thrives on our fear and exhaustion, so we’re choosing to gather, reconnect, and remember our strength together. 🫂

My favorite part of doing work is hearing the comments y’all make as your body starts to shift. 💫

Today a client told me: “I feel taller, stable, supported… but it feels kind of scary?”

That’s the beauty of nervous system work. When we create new patterns, it can feel good, safe, AND a little unfamiliar at the same time. Your body is learning something new, and that’s where transformation begins. 🌿
