The future of science might be sitting in our community right now.

Students are invited to participate in a Hands-On Scientific Research Experience where they will run mini-experiments alongside PhD and MD students and learn about careers in science and medicine.

Activities include Skittles RNA sequencing, building mini-organs, and practicing how doctors analyze medical images.

Our partners at Equal Hope and Sisters Working It Out are inviting women under 40 to participate in the “40 Under 40: Voices of Early-Onset Breast Cancer” campaign through the Young and a Survivor (YAAS) initiative.

This campaign aims to elevate the lived experiences of young women impacted by breast cancer and raise awareness in younger populations.

✨ Participants will:
• Be recognized as part of Equal Hope’s 40 Under 40 campaign
• Be featured in digital, print, and educational materials
• Participate in public awareness efforts
• Connect with fellow advocates and professionals

đź’ł Participants will receive a $100 Visa gift card incentive.

📣 Who should apply?
• Women under 40 (ages 18–39)
• Women at higher risk due to genetics or family history
• Breast cancer patients, survivors, and thrivers

Share your story through a personal essay, photography, video testimonial, or creative reflection.

This simple blood test can provide insight into your risk for heart disease, heart attack, diabetes, kidney disease, and more. It’s especially helpful for anyone with a family history of health conditions.

The process is straightforward: select a location, complete the blood test, and receive your results.
