Here, you can walk-in for a sudden illness or injury seven days a week. You can also make Innovative your home for ongoing primary care needs, or see one of the therapists on our behavioral health team. Our urgent care, primary care and behavioral health teams work together to provide coordinated care for our patients. That’s Innovative. We call it healthcare evolved.

Our Story

Innovative Express Care is an urgent care clinic in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. We treat minor medical emergencies, illnesses, and also preventive health issues. From sore throats to sprained ankles and everything in-between, we see patients seven days a week. There are no hidden costs and no unnecessary tests, just quality medical care.

What makes us different? We use technology in a way that helps you. You have access to your medical records through a portal. You can contact our providers by email or via our portal, and you can schedule an appointment on-line. You can even see your provider through our secure telemedicine system, similar to Skype for some medical needs (established patients only).

Innovative Express Care was founded by Rahul Khare, MD. Khare was an emergency physician and associate professor at Northwestern Medicine for twelve years before he started his own practice. In addition to running the six medical practices that make up Innovative Care, Khare also works Advocate’s Illinois Masonic Hospital. All our staff here have referrals to all the major hospitals in the city: Rush, Northwestern, Loyola, University of Chicago, Lurie’s Children’s Hospital, and the Advocate system. The beauty is, we are not tied into one place. We pick the best specialist referral that fits your specific need.

We do a lot of things differently here, but this is what we do best – deliver healthcare you can trust in an efficient, friendly and innovative way. We are changing the way healthcare is delivered.
