Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center provides physical, occupational, speech and Behavior therapy services in the clinic, school, and teletherapy setting as well as in the home through the Early Intervention Program. We work with children of all ages, from premature infants to young adults. Our therapists work in partnership with families to establish meaningful goals and provide interventions that are developmentally appropriate in a child-friendly environment. Communication with the child, parents, and specialists on the team is the cornerstone of our intervention and treatment philosophies. We have multiple social groups and classes for all ages that meet on a weekly or twice weekly basis. We strive to provide a variety of services for children and their caregivers to serve as a resource for families in the community. These groups include developmental play groups, social skills groups, parent support groups and motor skills groups. On January 21st, this group will meet for the first time in the new year. This session will be for parents to discusses how having a family and raising children is hard. It can have even more challenges when you are parenting a child with special needs. That's why this group exists, to support you and build into our amazing community of families.

It's okay to ask for help, be vulnerable with your feelings, and to take care of yourself. There's a strong solidarity to be found in building your own personal community of people who just "get it."

The first meet up is Wednesday January 21st! Our SibShop series is developed for siblings of children with developmental disabilities or other support needs, such as siblings with autism, down syndrome, cancer, mental health concerns, etc.

Santa stopped by CPTWC! 🎅

Please enjoy a little sneak peek of some of the pictures from yesterday. At the clinic, Santa was able to hand out candy canes, listen to wish lists, and deliver nice list certificates to 70+ children. We hope you enjoyed visiting Santa!

We strive to provide a variety of services for children and their caregivers to serve as a resource for all families in the community.
