Relaxation isn’t a switch you flip; it’s a skill we practice together.
We see it so often: someone lies down on the table, and even though they are “resting,” their body is still in battle mode. Their shoulders are up to their ears, their jaw is clenched, and their mind is already halfway through tomorrow’s to-do list.
If that sounds like you, we want you to know: it’s not your fault.
Most of us spend our days being the “fixers,” the “planners,” and the “doers” for everyone else. Your body stays guarded because it’s used to protecting you.
When you allow yourself to be truly held and supported by the table, something shifts. Your nervous system resets, your breath deepens, and you reclaim the energy you’ve been pouring out all week.
You don’t have to “perform” relaxation. You just have to show up. We’ll do the rest.
Which of these steps do you find the hardest to do?
